There's first love, and then there is Color Blocking love!

Last weekend was a time of bliss & going back to nature experience. We went on a family trip to a small village near Shantiniketan, the home town of the Rabindranath Tagore.

I just bought my first colored jeggings & a striped jacket so I had to do an outfit shoot and with such beautiful surroundings, not much work was required.

Color Blocking love!
Jacket & Jeggings - AND
T-Shirt - Thrifted
Necklace & Ring - Thrifted
Sandals - Inc. 5

We spent two days in a village inspired resort where rooms meant artistically decorated mud houses with basic amenities amidst barren land & foliage, with a few ponds here and there. The place was connected only through roads had no forms of telephonic or electronic communication. It was beautiful & peaceful!

The entrance of the house decorated with terracotta artifacts collected by the owners over time.

Glass door with decorative murals on the walls.

The first day, after we reached, we went to see the Viswa Bharati University campus. The place is beautiful with different departments aptly decorated by the very students.

Buddha made out of concrete chips, stones & sand.

The glass house used now as a place of worship or for performances.

The art building, painted by the students.

The whole weekend was spent in peace & quiet with delicious home cooked meals, and did I tell you, the place is heaven for handicraft lovers. You can buy handmade jewelry, leather accessories, batik clothing & material. I will show you some of the things I bought in my next post.

Meanwhile, why don't you visit my Facebook page and select 'Show in News Feed' so that you can get all the latest updates from the blog!
