Lost in time...

I apologize for the long pause from blogging…I can give a million reasons to the question “Why?” but I don’t think that’s necessary. Just a few words about what’s been happening in my life. First I got a job as a designer for an ethnic wear brand and it’s been almost 5 months, then I had lost around 15 kgs from when I moved in Kolkata to when I last posted. But sadly I am not progressing anymore now. Anyways, our house in Kolkata was under renovation for about a year and now it’s almost ready. So I have been a little busy doing furnishing and home décor shopping.

Well, enough with my life…Moving on….

First a trend which till now I despised but now it’s like I can see it in a new light. Trend in question – The Skirt with Kurti! And I’m not talking just about the maxi flared skirt with the sleeveless very short kurti. Lately I have noticed a few fabulous women pulling this trend off with flair. I would have never believed if I hadn’t seen this girl wearing a mini flared cotton skirt with a regular half sleeve kurti with side slits. It was wonderful!

So, I did some looks for this trend.

Kurti - Fabindia, Skirt - Etsy, Shoes & Belt - Zara, Bag - H&M, Necklace - Promod

Kurti - Fabindia, Skirt & Bib Necklace - Etsy, Shoes - Aldo, Bangles - Accessorize, Bag - H&M, Belt - Promod

And now I'm looking for the perfect skirt and kurti that I can pull off.

That's all for now. I'm gonna leave with some outfit shots I took while shopping for home decor.

And of course THE look!
