Fabulous India...

As we grow older, we develop a comfort zone in our wardrobe as well. You might find yourself going for the same type of clothes everyday the minute you open your closet.

And right now a lot of you are thinking T-shirt+Denim. Well, for me it happens to be the kurti+leggings/patiyala+dupatta(optional) combination. Its very clumsy for a lot of people but I find it to be very comfortable specially if I have to wear the entire day. I find it very difficult to wear denims in this hot & humid weather. Plus I love to dress it up in Indian accessories.

Well, that said, here are some shots of me wearing my favorite type of clothes on a usual work day...

Kurti - Tailored, Leggings - Shoppers Stop, Duppatta - Lucknow/U.P, Bag - FabIndia, Bangles - Thrifted, Watch - Guess, Necklace - Mango, Flat Sandals - Colaba/Mumbai

So my comfort zone is Fabulously Indian. What is your favorite type of clothing?

  1. That looks fabulously comfortable. In the US, it's always business attire - slacks, shoes, shirt. It would be nice to have another acceptable option here.

  2. Hey Uparna you've got an amazing blog! Loove your ethnic sensibilities! You are one gorgeous woman and we very much support you for the fact that you embrace your curves so graciously! :)

  3. Hey thanks a lot....You two have a fabulous blog as well....

  4. It is fabulously comfortable and you look smart too. Works really well in this hot weather in India.
Hope to hearing more from you!

  5. I'm totally agree with the Kurti + leggings being the summer resort. But most of all you look lovely.
